I pray that my husband recover from his drug addiction to crack cocaine. I pray that people stop blaming me for the addiction. His addiction. Was long before me. I only voiced my concern for him and constantly prayed that he would get help. I’m tired. I’m tired of not being loved and being ridiculed and blamed for such horrible things that are not even true. I pray that my husband sees that all I’ve ever wanted was for him to get better. No one gives you a phamlet on being married to a drug addict and being married into a narcissistic family and few select friends who blame you for the addicts actions. No one tells you that you will be a doormat and the excuse. Lord I pray that my husband can get better. Lord please help me gain the clarity while he is away and understand that I am not to blame for his addiction. I’ve just been here waiting to be loved and cared for and shown positive attention and love. Lord help me understand why I am going through this.
