Lord, you know about the eight-year estrangement between my sister and my niece. I am so sad that my niece refuses to allow her daughter to even meet my sister, even though my sister has apologized for what she thought she did wrong. My sister is deeply hurt and angry about this injustice and doesn't know how to reconcile. My niece won't even talk about it. Both were baptized Catholics and have lost their way. I have given up trying to reconcile them, and I ask Mary and Jesus to find a way to heal their relationship and bring them back to the Church when it seems as if there is no way. In Jesus' name, though the intercession of the Holy Spirit and St. Jude, I beg you, Lord, to wrap your arms around these two hurting people and heal their relationship.
