My granddaughter is only years old, she was bit by a tick. It infected her with Powassan and she got encephalitis. She almost died. She was left with brain damage. She cannot speak or control her head, arms and legs. She is now having seizures. Her prognosis is unknown. We are lost, scared and in shock. We have been praying so hard. Please God answer our prayers! We are profoundly sad.
